Woodbury Heights Environmental Club

The Woodbury Heights Environmental Club will meet on Wednesday, June 22,  from 6 to 7 p.m. Ideas and volunteers are welcome as we will be discussing ways to improve local environment and educate the community concerning environmental issues. Call (856) 848-3228 for further information.  


Woman’s Club of Wenonah

 The Woman’s Club of Wenonah installed new officers at the annual luncheon at Villari’s Lakeside Restaurant. New officers installed for the club include: Corresponding Secretary and Recording Secretary and Treasurer. Mary Crevino and her husband Joe presented a program about their home-grown business, Sweet Mary’s Chocolates. They explained how they started with one order for candy favors for a friend’s wedding and have now developed an international client base.


Garden State Coin Club

The Garden State Coin Club meets the first Saturday of each month, 6 p.m. at St. Luke’s Church, upstairs hall, Route 130 South and Highland Avenue, Westville. No phone calls, no mail, just walk in. The next meeting will be held July 2.


Friendship tea

Join us at Zion Community Church, 242 Kings Highway, Clarksboro on Thursday, June 23 at 7 p.m. for our annual “friendship tea.”  Bring favorite tea cup (and a tea cup story if you have a special one). Invite a friend and enjoy the fellowship.  
Following the tea time, we will also have a “Baby Shower” for ‘Options For Women.’ Bring a wrapped gift which will be opened and given to the representative helping new mothers there. Bring a friend. Asking for diapers, bottle, cups, clothes (summer/winter) and grooming items, no formulas.
