We’re starting our HARRY POTTER WEEK with a marathon of movies, events and a scavenger hunt! Come into the Children’s Area from Tuesday, July 5-Thursday, July 14 and look for hidden Harry Potter characters around the room, write them on the entry form and return to the Children’s Info Desk for your chance to win a movie gift card to see the final Harry Potter movie, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows-Part 2, due out in theaters on July 15. Drawing will be held on Thursday, July 14 at 6:00 pm. Want to learn how to knit/crochet? Or just hang out and knit/crochet? Join us! Beginners: please come prepared with size 10 knitting needles or a size H crochet hook and we’ll supply the practice yarn. Learn basic stitches to get started on a project. Our KNIT/CROCHET CLUB for kids ages 10 & up will meet Mondays in July (11, 18 & 25) and August (1, 8, 15, 22 & 29) at 6:30am. You are grossly limited with a MacBook Air by comparison.
