So, have you stopped laughing yet?

The last few days have provided an endless supply of belly laughs as FIFA completely implodes.

Arguably the most obnoxious and corrupt organisation in the world, their brazen shenanigans would make even the most vile Fianna Fáil politician blush -- well, almost anyway.

And eschewing their long-held principle of omerta, where the big boys on the inner council keep schtum and look out for each other, the whole thing has descended into a knife fight in an alleyway.

As things stand, today's 'election' is actually more a coronation, as the dictator Sepp Blatter has routed his opposition in a way that would make Nero proud.

But even though Sunday's press conference was riveting and hilarious telly, Monday's hissy fit from the appalling Blatter was truly a thing of joy.

Giving one World Cup to Russia was bad enough -- to award one to Qatar was FIFA's way of admitting to the world that they were completely bent and they didn't care who knew.

After all, when you reject a country like Australia, which is one of the finest sporting nations in the world, with a history of hosting fantastic and well organised events in favour of a desert kip where it'll be 50 degrees, you see just how much contempt they feel for due process.

So, when Blatter did his Comical Ali impression during the press conference and insisted that everything was fine before flouncing off the podium in the funniest huff I've seen in a long time, he snarled about 'respect' and how 'respect' is vital in the football community.

So, would that be the same amount of respect he showed to us when he openly sneered and mocked Ireland after the play-off debacle against France?

Payback, as they say, is a bitch.

Right, we all have role models, heroes and people we aspire to be.

In fact, without having someone to look up to and learn from, we will never improve ourselves.

Obviously, I'm flawless in every way and therefore don't have any idols but for the rest of you plebs, you really should take lessons from your betters. Like Jordan, perhaps.

Here we see three pictures of Jesus laughing.  I believe that Jesus was a really cool guy that you would want to hang around with.  It's doubtful to me that he was always business and would never want have any fun.  Looking at these pictures confirms one of my personal philosophies... always laugh at everything.  No matter how bad something may be, look for the humor in it... and laugh!
